This is my 4th Leathercult jacket purchase. Like the others I?ve received, this jacket was expertly made to my exact measurement specs including customized bemburg lining and decorative stitching thread (we went with a copperish color rather than the default white / cream color. This jacket is unlike other suede jackets I?ve worn in that it is super lightweight for year ?round wear, but it?s not so fitted that I can?t layer under it for cooler weather. The tobacco suede is the perfect shade to go with the antique brass snaps (and the aforementioned custom copper decorative stitching). The interior and exterior pockets are generally sized to hold all your tech gear. Note that due to the lightness of the jacket, there are no hand warmer pockets (or the fabric would not drape properly?these really aren?t needed anyway). As to the style, it really captures the ?trucker-jacket-with-military-epaulettes? look of the mid-sixties folkie style. Not just John Lennon wearing it with black turtleneck, black boots & denim jeans, but also as worn in the same period in old pics of Keith Richards & Steve Marriott (in burgundy), Chris Hillman & Chad Stuart (in tobacco). This is a really great jacket for that look and I?m tempted to order another in a custom burgundy if that?s an option.

My previous leather jacket lasted me a long time until it didn't. I was in the market for a replacement and searched quite a bit. When I landed on Leathercult, I liked what I saw, but when I saw this specific model, CHARLES BURNT MUSTARD LEATHER JACKET, I knew it was "the one". I gave it a green interior and had my name inscribed on it. They asked me to double check my measurements as I have long arms, and the delivery was even delayed a couple of days because during their quality check, something wasn't to their standard. When I did receive it, two things stood out to my senses: the delicious smell of leather and the softness of the same. I put it on, adjusted the lower side straps and I felt a perfect fit. I have to say, it gives you a slim look. You won't see anyone in the street with another like it, but it isn't a brag piece either. Just a beautiful leather jacket you will want to wear.

I ordered the Long Trench Coat #205 (hopefully as pictured). As I am pretty much a senior and no longer svelte, I had to customize the sizing. LeatherCult contacted me a couple of times to double-check my sizing requests...so there was no confusion. The coat is exactly as its picture, and as its supposed to be. I had it made "extra" long...and ALL of my specifications were met. Due to its size, it is a bit heavy, but that's what I ordered. The coat appears to be well made. The interior lining is the full length of the coat, which I did not expect. I assumed it would stop at about waist level. All of the leather pieces are excellent. There is not a single "blemished" piece of leather in the entire coat. All of the stitching is excellent...no loose threads anywhere. It is a extremely well made coat and I am quite impressed with it. The "only" addition I would make would be a "belt keeper" piece so that the belt cannot fall out/off of the coat while swinging free. GREAT coat!! I highly recommend LeatherCult and their excellent craftsmanship.

I was looking for something retro denim like, and opted for this instead in a beautiful suede. I wanted it unique, so added the Sherpa lining and a tweed hood which was also lined. It?s that perfect casual autumn or mild winter anytime wear choice, understated but quality.

Yes I am a real person and no I am not part of this company. I cringe buying things online because I am usually disappointed. However I was very pleased with my leather jacket which I am wearing now even though it is summer here. I ordered 1 size larger than I would normally get and I am glad I did, it fits perfectly and feels great. Everything is just like the photo and is of good quality. The jacket is soft and feels like wearing a fleecy jacket and is easy to slip on and off with the silky lining. The zip is good quality and looks great. I don't know how warm it will be in winter but I expect it will definitely keep out the wind and keep me dry.
